Why Choose Us?

At ACTIONABILITY, Joslyn serves as the Director and Senior Support Coordinator, bringing over a decade of experience in the disability support sector. Since 2012, Joslyn has had the privilege of working closely with countless individuals living with disabilities, along with their families and support networks. Throughout her career, she has been continually humbled by the resilience and strength of the people she serves, especially in the face of the challenges many face every day.

Joslyn believes that the individuals she works with are experts in their own lives. She feels honoured to learn from them, gain unique insights, and contribute to their growth in the pursuit of their goals. Her passion for supporting people with disabilities drives her to offer the highest level of support coordination, ensuring each person receives the tailored help they deserve.

A Journey Through the NDIS and Beyond

Since the rollout of the NDIS in Western Sydney in 2016, Joslyn has worked closely with participants and their support teams, providing dedicated Support Coordination services. Over the years, she’s developed a keen understanding of what works well in the NDIS system and, importantly, what doesn’t. This hands-on experience has given her valuable insights into how to navigate the system most effectively and avoid the common pitfalls where “the wheels fall off.”

The Birth of ACTIONABILITY

Driven by the desire to do things better and with a focus on creativity and genuine care, Joslyn founded ACTIONABILITY. At the core of her vision is the commitment to providing individually tailored support coordination services that truly meet the needs of participants. She aims to do things differently by offering personalised, hands-on, and compassionate support that helps people achieve their goals with confidence.

Extensive Experience and Expertise

Joslyn’s experience spans a variety of sectors and services. She has extensive knowledge in navigating complex systems such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), NSW Health, the Department of Justice, and mainstream community services. Additionally, she has worked with numerous individuals to achieve their housing goals, facilitating successful transitions into Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and private housing options.

Her expertise also includes supporting individuals through transitions from hospital to community living and ensuring they have the necessary funding and resources for a smooth changeover.
